A friendly reminder from the Tennessee Highway Patrol....
This week, a traffic stop changed in an instant.
Dash camera footage shows the moment a vehicle struck the rear of a Tennessee Highway Patrol cruiser on Interstate 65
in Davidson County, knocking it into the vehicle the trooper had stopped.
Body camera video captures the force of the collision from inside the patrol car. The impact knocked the body camera
from the trooper’s uniform and sent it tumbling to the floorboard.
When you see flashing lights ahead, move over when it is safe to do so. If you cannot move over, slow down and proceed
with caution.
Move over. Slow down. Be Safe....Everyone deserves to get home safely.
