DREMC Celebrates 90 Years

Duck River Electric invites members to its 2026 Annual Membership Meeting, Saturday, August 15th, at Harris
Middle School in Shelbyville, 570 Eagle Blvd., Shelbyville. 

Registration, a complimentary breakfast and family activities begin at 8:30am, with the meeting starting at 9:30am.

This year’s event celebrates Duck River Electric Member Corperation’s 90th anniversary of serving southern Middle Tennessee. 

Members can meet cooperative leaders, hear organizational updates and register for premium door prizes, including a grand
prize drawing for an F-150 four-wheel-drive pickup truck that was recently retired from Duck River Electric Member Corperation’s fleet.

The first 400 members to register will receive a commemorative Duck River Electric Member Corperation bucket filled with giveaway items.

Families can also meet Duck River Electric Member Corperation’s new mascot, Watts the Lineduck. Be a part of this historic day.
