PULASKI, Tenn. — TCAT Pulaski has introduced a new Digital Agronomy program aimed at preparing students for the future of modern agriculture. Instructor Jeremy Doggett presented the program this week at the Tennessee Association of Agricultural Educators Conference in Murfreesboro, highlighting its focus on blending traditional farming practices with the latest technology.
The program provides a foundation in both conventional and regenerative agriculture, while incorporating advanced tools such as GIS mapping, precision agriculture, the Internet of Things (IoT), crop management, and irrigation systems.
Students can enroll full-time or part-time, with the program designed to be completed in 12 months and totaling 1,296 clock hours. Day classes are offered, and graduates will earn a certificate or diploma. Tuition and fees are approximately $4,320, with additional costs for textbooks and supplies.
