Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency is partnering with Lowe’s and local emergency management teams for Tune It Tuesday on September 23, 2025.
From 4 to 7 p.m., residents can stop by one of more than 20 Lowe’s stores across the state to get help programming their NOAA Weather Radios. Local officials will ensure the devices are properly set for each area and share emergency preparedness resources.
A limited number of free radios will be available, courtesy of TVA, and TEMA will also provide batteries for new or used radios while supplies last. Weather radios are a critical tool for receiving life-saving alerts during power outages or cell service disruptions.
