    Allan Ray Salisbury passed away on April 2, 2026. He was 76 years old, a resident of Giles County, Tn. a Christian and member of First Baptist Church. Al was born on November 13, 1949 in Traverse City, Michigan. After high school, he joined the Army and served in Vietnam. After returning home, he met and married Debbie, his wife of 53 years. They went on to have 4 boys, Bill, Lee, Ricky, and Albert.

    Al enjoyed being outside and working in the woods. When the kids were growing up, the family worked together cutting and selling firewood and later making and delivering charcoal. Later, he and Debbie owned and operated AS Trucking in Beaverton, Michigan until they retired and moved to Tennessee. Al loved hunting, building things, and playing in the dirt with his skid steer. He was a lifelong NASCAR fan and was always up for a game of Euchre. His favorite place was his property in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He looked forward to spending the summers there enjoying nature and time with family and friends.

    A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

    The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Tony Gomillion officiating.

    The burial will take place in the New Zion Cemetery with full military honors.

    He is proceeded in death by his parents, Albert and Dorothy Salisbury, and his brother, Joe Salisbury.

    Survivors include his wife, Debbie Salisbury of Pulaski, TN.
    Son, Bill Salisbury (Stacy) of Pulaski, TN.
    Son, Lee Salisbury (Mary) of Beaverton, MI.
    Son, Ricky (Leonda) Salisbury of Englewood, Colorado.
    Son, Albert Salisbury (Jessie) of Beaverton, MI.

    He also leaves behind his sisters, Doris Nelligan (Pat) and Donna Koon of Traverse City, MI. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

    A Celebration of Life will also be held in Eckerman, Michigan sometime this summer and will be announced at a later date.

    Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Allan Ray Salisbury.
