Andrew Jackson Young

Andrew Jackson Young, age 96,was born on March 12. 1929 in Goodspring, TN to
Andrew Jackson Young and Rosa Lee Ezell Young. He transitioned at his residence on
Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was a high school graduate, a member of Ebeneezer
Missionary Baptist Church, Goodspring, TN, and a retired employee of Gabriel, Pulaski,
TN. Additionally, he worked in the demolition business and later at Kroger Groceries
Louisville, KY, before returning to Giles County Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Sat., August 16, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 12 Noon with
the funeral following at Ebeneezer Missionary Baptist Church 644 Fall River Road
Goodspring, TN. Reverend Fitzgerald Gilbert, Eulogist. Burial will be in Goodspring
Cemetery.
Survivors include; one sister Mae Etta Marshall, one son, Andrew Jackson Young, Jr.,
Local Survivors, Cousins, Lois, Macklin, Shirley Macklin and Laura Moody and a host of
other relative and friends.
