Angela Marie Janes Smith

Angela Marie Janes Smith passed from this earth to the joy of Christ on March 1, 2026, at STRHS Lawrenceburg, TN. She was born on April 11, 1980, in Muskegon, MI. She was adopted and became a Janes on June 21, 1991. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and friend. She graduated from Mona Shores High School in 1999 and worked at Wal-Mart for several years. She moved to Tennessee in 2006 to be with the love of her life Brad. Despite being born with Spina-Bifida, Angie lived life to the fullest and met many challenges head on. She was always willing to listen and offer a sympathetic shoulder. She was a great and loyal friend and a devoted wife.

The visitation will be 11:00am until 1:00pm, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Bass officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Phyllis Janes of Muskegon, MI, along with her aunt Karen Russell of Elkton, TN.

She is survived by her:
Husband, Bro. Brad Smith of Elkton, TN.
Mother-in-law. Wanda Smith of Elkton, TN. 
Sisters, Laurie [Dave] Chartrand of Muskegon, MI; Debbie [Steve] Broemer of Grand Haven, MI; Heidi Vanderstelt of Grand Rapids, MI; Amanda Oseguera of Indianapolis, IN, and Samantha Monje of Indianapolis, IN. 
Brothers, Jim [Jennifer] Janes of Bridgeman, MI and Jeff Janes of Muskegon, MI. 
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She is also survived by her beloved dog Minnie.

The family would like to thank the staff of NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN, for taking great care of her in recent years.
