Betty Joyce Hemphill

Betty Joyce Hemphill of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at
Lincoln Medical Center. She was born in Pulaski, Tennessee on May 23, 1953, and was 73 years
old.
Betty was a loving sister and aunt. She was a big cut up and always knew how to make others
smile.
The visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the chapel
at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory,
The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm.
Betty was preceded in death by, her husband, Harold Hemphill, parents, Charles and Emma
Woodard, son, Steven Hemphill, grandson, Jacob Hemphill, sisters, Mary Blade, and Susie
Dugger, brothers, Robert, David, Charles, Donald, and Tony Woodard.
She is survived by,
Her sisters, Wanda Carter of Prospect, TN
Barbara Woodard of Prospect, TN
Brother, Jerry Woodard of Pulaski, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
