Dolores Marie Vicknair Shelton of Pulaski died October 5, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital. Dolores was born November 3rd 1926 in Marrero Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by parents, Adam and Julia Vicknair, husband Lee V Shelton, sisters Shirley Becnel, Marilyn Munsterman, and her daughter Jackie Lee Smith.
Dolores had been a resident of Pulaski since 1947, was retired from Maremont Gabriel and was
a member of East Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughter Denair (Harald) Melson, grandchildren Thor Melson (Lindsay), Jason Murrah, Ali Smith, great grandson Gunnar Melson, nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory
The memorial service will follow at 3:00pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorial donations may be made to East Hill Church of Christ
and Ivy Crest Assisted Living.
