Faye Wolaver Davis

Faye Wolaver Davis of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home.  She was born on August 15, 1940, and was 85 years old. Faye was a loving sister, aunt, and friend.  A proud 1958 graduate of Beech Hill High School.  She embarked on her next adventure by moving to Nashville with dear friends, and she never looked back.  Faye was known for her love of travel, her passion for playing cards – where she earned the title of “Game Queen”—and her infectious, unique laugh.  After dedicating 44 and a half years to Truist Bank, she retired in December 2002. Faye remained a long-standing member of the Diana Methodist Church.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Monty Franklin officiating.

The burial will take place in Diana Cemetery.

Faye was preceded in death by, her parents, Myron H Wolaver Sr. and Nellie Jean Clark, brother, Douglas C. Wolaver, and niece-in-law, Quatina Wolaver.
