Forrest Scott Glover

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Forrest Scott Glover. He passed away peacefully on July 18th, 2026 surrounded by family and close friends, at the age of 55.

Scott was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, caring brother, proud uncle, and loyal friend. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the impact he made will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

A simple man at heart, Scott was happiest at home. He loved standing behind the grill and preparing meals that brought family and friends together. Scott was incredibly smart and had a knack for knowing something about almost everything, including plenty of random facts that often made for great conversations. He also loved spending time in his garage and tinkering with just about anything that had a motor. Whether he was repairing, rebuilding, or simply figuring out how something worked, he enjoyed the challenge and satisfaction of working with his hands. His curiosity, mechanical talent, and willingness to help others with any project were just a few of the many qualities that made him so special.

Professionally, Scott dedicated more than 20 years to the environmental consulting industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master of Agricultural Engineering Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During his time at UT Martin, he was a proud brother of the Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) Fraternity. His education laid the foundation for a successful career. In 2023, Scott became a founding member of Clinchfield Consulting Group, helping build a company grounded in expertise, integrity, and hard work. Through his knowledge, leadership, and dedication to excellence, he earned the respect and trust of both colleagues and clients.  While he took pride in his work, his greatest accomplishment was the life he built with his family.

As a husband, he was a faithful partner whose love, support, and devotion created a lifetime of cherished memories. As a father, he was a role model whose guidance, patience, encouragement, and unconditional love shaped the lives of his children. His quiet strength, kind heart, and steady presence made those around him feel safe, valued, and loved. As a son, brother, and uncle, he treasured his family, always offering his loyalty and support. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humility, hard work, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon Glover; his children, Sydney and Reid Glover; his parents, Vernon (Kathy) Glover and Sandra Glover; his sister, Becky (Matt) Bowling his brother, Mark (Jamie)  Glover; his nieces and nephews, Deanna Daniels, Rhett Bowling and Callie Bowling; along with extended family, dear friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Although his absence leaves an immeasurable void, Scott's legacy will live on through the love he gave, values he instilled, and countless memories shared with family and friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Scott's life will be held on 2:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Choates Creek United Methodist Church. 125 Choates Creek Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. There will be refreshments to follow in the Fellowship Hall after services are completed.

The family will receive friends at Choates Creek United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
