George Storey

George Storey of Pulaski, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 2 nd , 2025 at NHC Pulaski
surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Pulaski, TN on February 5 th , 1936 and was 89
years old.

George was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He graduated from Beech
Hill High School. George first worked for H.G. Hill food stores, then Cooper and Martin Food
Stores. He owned a country store in Portland, TN and then opened Storey’s Foodland in
Nashville. George was a retired farmer. He lived a life rooted in hard work, service, and
passion. He was an avid sports fan, especially loving baseball and football. A proud veteran,
George served 4 years honorably in the United States Airforce.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5 th , 2025 at 2:00pm at Bee Springs Cemetery.

George was preceded in death by, his parents, Farris D. Storey and Mytrle Beddingfield, and his
wife, Dametria Davidson Storey.

Farris (Carol) Storey of Columbia, TN
Grandchildren, Thomas W. Storey and George H. Storey
Great Grandchildren, Makayla, Rachel, Griffin, and Claire Storey
Brothers, Robert Wayne (Mila) Storey of Nashville, TN
Grady L (Sandra) Storey of Pulaski, TN
Devoted companion, Fay Solomon of Pulaski, TN
Numerous nieces and cousins also survive.
