    Gregory Derell Olds of Pulaski, departed this life on June 6, 2026 at the age of 65. Gregory was born on July 13, 1960. Throughout his life, he was known for this kind spirit, strong work ethic, unwavering faith, and love for those around him. He shared 38 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, his wife, Lisa, building a life centered on love, faith, and friendship. At a young age, Gregory gave his life to the Lord and remained devoted to his faith throughout his life. He faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, sharing God’s Word and encouraging others in their walk with Christ. His love for the Lord was evident in both his words and his actions. Gregory had many passions that brought him joy. He loved flying small airplanes and cherished the freedom and peace he found in the skies. He was also an avid basketball player who enjoyed countless games with neighbors and friends. His smooth style of play earned him the nickname “Ice Man,” a name that remained with him throughout the years. A dedicated worker, Greg spent many years employed in both the retail and manufacturing industries. He was respected by coworkers and friends alike for his dependability, integrity, and willingness to help others.

    Greg leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Lisa; his mother, Bobbye Owens; his aunt, Theresa Olds; and his sister, Angela Owens.

    He is also survived by Louis and his wife, Michell Fuqua of Atlanta, GA; Trevin Johnson; Nancy and her husband, Dezi Fletcher of Madison, AL; Rev. John R. Holt and his wife Johnnie of Nashville, TN; Rev. Leon Holt of Louisville, KY; Paul Holt and his wife Patricia Ann of Chicago, IL; Lena Butler of Indianapolis, IN; Ronnie Smith and his wife Jackie of Harvest, AL; James Louis Smith and his wife Shirley of Veto, AL; Clara Smith and her husband Mike of Pulaski, TN; Geneva Holt of Chicago, IL; Minister Regina Ashanti and her husband Elder Michael of Huntsville, AL; Stephanie Massey of Pulaski, TN; special friends Gregory and his wife, Tammy Simmons, Kathy and her husband, Eddie Ordway, Dale Nelson of Pulaski, TN; Marvin Huff of Pulaski, TN; and a host of other family members and dear friends whose lives were blessed by knowing him.

    Though he will be deeply missed, his loved ones find comfort in the hope of Christ and the assurance that Gregory’s faithful journey has led him home.

    Funeral service for Gregory Derell Olds will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 beginning with visitation at 10:00am and the 11:00am service immediately following at Temple Of Praise Church, 1030 Ragsdale Lane, Pulaski, TN.

    Interment will be in Powell Chapel Cemetery on Old Sumac Road in Pulaski.
