Henry Daniel Smith

Henry Daniel Smith of Pulaski, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21 st , 2026 at NHC-Pulaski. He
was born in Ardmore, AL on July 15, 1943 and was 83 years old.
Daniel was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who loved taking care of and spending time with his
family. He was truly a kid a heart loving to cut up, joke around and an all-around jokester, where lately
his thing for picking at people was poking them and always found their reactions funny. Daniel was
retired from Stanley Tools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hauling hay with his children. Daniel was
well known to many as Uncle Boone.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 in the chapel.
Burial will take place in the Lebanon Cemetery in Lincoln County.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Smith, daughter, Danette Smith Griffin, parents, Henry
and Annie Simpson Smith, sisters, Ruby Dollar, Odel Taylor, Virgie Henderson, and Mary Ann Smith,
brother, Harry Smith, and son-in-law, Jeff Griffin.
He is survived by,
Daughter, Cynthia Smith of Pulaski, TN
Grandchild, S. Griffin of Pulaski, TN
Sisters, Emma (Ross) Massey and Mazie Thomas of Fayetteville, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
