Jerry Wayne Griffin, age 61, departed this life on December 27, 2025. He was born in Athens, AL to William Erskin Sowell and Cora Mae Griffin who preceded him in death along with his wife, Teresa An Foster Griffin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 beginning at 1 p.m. At the Farmer's Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Asociation's Tabernacle 131 Baugh Road Elton, TN. Pastor Larry Bailey , Eulogist.
Survivors are, one Sister, Sandra Jean Stevenson and husband, James, one brother, Albert Dean Sowell, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
