John Edward Kellum, age 85, of Loretto, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg, TN. John was born on April 30th, 1940 to the late Edward Kellum and Estha Francis Littrell Kellum in Gideon, Missouri. John worked for many years for General Motors at Saturn in Spring Hill, TN before retiring in 1998. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of United Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruthanne Kellum, and his brother, James Donald Kellum.
He is survived by his children, John Kellum and Daniel Kellum (Jennifer); grandchildren, John Kellum Jr., Chandler Kellum, Adam Kellum, and Taylor Gist; numerous other grandchildren; brother, “C” Kellum, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
