John Lloyd “Charlie” Summers III

John Lloyd “Charlie” Summers III, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 1st , 2026 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Charlie was born on January 23rd , 1959 to the late John Lloyd Summers Jr. and Janice Summers in Panama City, Florida. Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air Force in the 1970’s and 80’s. Charlie worked for many years at AutoZone in Lawrenceburg. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time on his computer, drinking coffee, eating donuts, and spending time with his loving family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Aubrie Rose Summers; paternal and maternal grandparents, and his sister-in law, Debbie Summers. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kristi Summers; son, Timothy Martin; daughter, Brittany Cintron; brother, Michael Summers; sister, Dulcie Summers Davis; special friend, Jay Sparrow, and his loving feline companions, Serenity, Shadow, and Sarah.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later time. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be handling all final arrangements.
