Judy Hendrix Newton

Judy Hendrix Newton, age 72, of Minor Hill, TN, went home to meet her savior on December 18, 2025. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Judy was known for her deep love of family, generosity, and loving nature towards animals, of which she had many. Judy was retired from Frito-Lay and spent time doting on her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm Monday, December 22, 2025, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Judy requested donations be made to the Giles County Humane Association or the animal rescue of your choice.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents John Franklin Hendrix, Lara Lou Cardin and Harold Eugene Cardin.
She is survived by her;

Husband of 53 years, Sherrell Newton of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Daughter, Lana (Michael) Lindberg of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Daughter, Lisa (Jason) Patterson of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Son, William Brandon Newton of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Pickett of Louisville, KY, Leah Nicole Lindberg of Nashville, TN, Haley (Daniel) Bowen of Hartselle, AL, and Kade Walker Patterson of Minor Hill, TN.
Sister, Linda Jo Dean of Minor Hill, Tennessee.
Two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
