Mary Joy McNeese

Mary Joy McNeese, age 86, passed away January 17, 2026 at The
Rutherford Assisted Living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born
on November 15, 1939, in Pulaski, TN to the late Mahlon Dean
McNeese and Clariss Kathleen McNeese. She was a graduate of Beech Hill High School, Class of 1958, and
Columbia Business College. Joy was employed by Genesco Corporation
in Nashville, Tennessee for 55 years. She was a faithful member of
Tusculum Hills Baptist Church in Nashville.

Survivors include her brother, James D, McNeese (Edna) of Tullahoma,
Tennessee; and nephews Donald McNeese (Tina) of Tullahoma,
Tennessee, and Ronald McNeese (Sue) of Gainesville, Georgia. Great-
nieces Megan Smith (Evan) of Tullahoma, TN, Whitney Aussiker (Matt)
of Hillsboro, TN, and great nephews Michael McNeese (Kate) of
Dawsonville, GA, Matt McNeese (Emily) of Dawsonville, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Carr and
Erwin Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tennessee, with visitation from
10:00am to 11:00am and services at 11:00am. Carr and Erwin Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s
choice.
