Ms. Mary Kathryn Butrum better known as Katie, age 72, of Lafayette, passed away, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Tri-Star Medical Center. Funeral services for Katie Butrum are scheduled to be conducted on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 1 PM, from The First Baptist Church of Lafayette with Pastor Ron Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the Underwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5 PM until 8 PM, and on Friday from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM

There will be an Eastern Star Service on Thursday evening, February 19, at 7 PM, conducted by The Lafayette Order of The Eastern Star # 379

She is preceded in death by Husband, Jack Butrum; Parents, Dewitt Booth Sr. and Helen Weatherman;
