Nancy Naomi Black

Nancy Naomi Black age 82, of Cornersville, TN passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, in her home.
Nancy was born on May 12, 1943, in Giles County, TN to the late Andrew and Margaret Thomas Black.  She grew up in the Bodenham community and accepted Christ at an early age.  Later in life she moved to Cornersville, TN, joined Round Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a usher until her health began to fail. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, cooking, and helping others, especially her family.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will follow at 11:00am on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce.

The burial will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Repast will be held at the Pulaski Rec Center.

Preceded in death by 7 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 children.

Nancy leaves to cherish her loving memories, 3 sisters; Joanna Perry, Mamie Cotham, and Velma Wilson.  3 children; Terry (Linda) Perry, Joe Perry, and Valatta Martin.  8 grandchildren, Tiffany (Prentice) Harlan, Darrell (Yalisa) Perry, Vicki Garrett, Nicole Harney, LaShara Booker, Alyssia Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, and Marques Martin.  14 great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. 
Devoted friends, Mrs. Jill, Mrs. Kay, Crayola and family, Ella Harris and family.
