Paula Barnes of Pulaski, Tn died March 3, 2026 at Maury Regional Health. Paula was born on April 4,1949 in Wilmington, N.C. She attended and Graduated from New Hanover High School in Wilmington and attended College in Atlanta Georgia. Paula retired after working for State of North Carolina and moved to Pulaski, Tn in 2011. Paula was the president of the Woman's Garden Club for several years. She donated several benches around the courthouse. PauIa loved living in Pulaski. She was a prolific gardener and had house plants more than 50 years old.
Paula was also an accomplished artist and craftswoman. She made and sold handmade jewelry and wreaths. PauIa loved Egypt and traveled there in the 1990's.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents Albert Simon Jacobson, Irma Lenore Smith Jacobson and son in law Charles Schwartz.
She is survived by daughter Mimi Blair, brother Daniel Jacobson and his wife Kelly and their daughter Katie, sister Marsha Schwartz and her sons Andrew, Paul, Hardy and Zachary. Paula has an extended family and many friends.
