Peggy Hendrix Skeets, age 95, passed away on March 22, 2026, at NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg, where she received loving care the last three years. Born in Minor Hill on January 18th, 1931, Peggy was a loving wife of 60 years to Allen and a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was baptized and of the Christian faith and attended Fairview Church of Christ. Peggy worked as a service rep for Bell South / AT&T for 29 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed the outdoors, riding her bike, planting flowers, but her most cherished times were those spend with her family.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The service will follow at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial will be in Giles Memorial Gardens.
Peggy was preceded in death by, her husband, Allen Skeets, parents, William (Will) and Lola Hendrix, brothers, Pete Hendrix and Ritchie Don Hendrix, sister, Mildred Patterson, daughter-in-law, Jeanette Skeets, grandson, Richard Skeets, great granddaughter, Ella Skeets, and nephews, Farrell and Phillip Patterson.

Grandchildren, Carrie Skeets Johnson (Neil), Stephen Skeets (Jennifer), Jessie Skeets Kraft (Jay) and Brandon Skeets (Emily).
Great-grandchildren, Blake Skeets, Lindsey Whitworth, Jon Johnson, Brandon Kraft, Davin Whitworth, Bella Thurman, Colton Skeets, Cooper Skeets, Carley Skeets, and Sadee Skeets.
Great-great grandchildren, Lucas Kraft and Miranda Whitworth
Several cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
