Robert Edward Gracy passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was a Giles County native his parents were William and Mary Gracy. He was affectionally known as “Bubba”. Robert was a graduate of Giles County High School class of 1969. After graduation, he was employed at Consolidated Packaging until it closed as well as other local industries. Robert enjoyed music and became a local DJ and had an extensive record collection.
Robert is survived by siblings, Larry Gracy and Sharon (Raleigh) Nelson, Nieces: Mishi (Ollie)McCullom, Akoya Nelson, Great-niece, Jasmine McCullom, : Longtime devoted friend, Mary Katherine Reynolds Bonus children, Thomas Reynolds, Cynthia Zerit, and Bonus grandchild, Katherine Taylor (Anthony) Towns, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Robert on Sunday, January 18 with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon at the New Beginning Funeral Home and Graveside service and burial at 1:00 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery.
The New Beginning Funeral Home is assisting the family with the final arrangements for Robert Edward Gracy.
