Ruby Woodard, age 88, of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on Thursday June 25, 2026. Ruby was born March 9, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. Her happiest moments were found in the quiet comforts of home. She found joy in life’s simple blessings—tending to her beautiful flowers, watching the hummingbirds visit her yard, and spending time with her family—creating precious memories. One of her favorite traditions was sharing special moments with John at the Bluebird Café.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers, and her daughter Marie Lefort and son Johnnie Woodard.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.
Ruby is survived by life partner John Lee of Pulaski, TN; daughter Mary Lowe of Pulaski, TN; grandson Matthew Lowe (Kayla) of Pulaski TN, grandson Jayson Hankins of Lincoln Park Michigan; granddaughter Ariel Stevens (Jacob) of Tuscumbia, AL; great grandson Tayven Stevens of Tuscumbia, AL; her two brothers Russell King (Laura) and Randy King (Margo) both of Michigan; and many other loved ones.
