Sarah Elizabeth Long grew up on a farm outside of Pulaski, TN. She was a Bodenham
High School graduate and attended Belmont College in Nashville TN, where she earned
a degree in Home Economics. After college she started her career as a Home Economist
and would make Atlanta, Ga her home. She spent the majority of her career working for
The Southeast United Dairy Industry Association (SUDIA) promoting dairy products.
She made many appearances on news programs and hosted her own television show,
“What’s Cooking”, that aired in the Atlanta area. During this time, she met many
celebrities and one of her favorite memories was getting to spoon feed ice cream to
singer Andy Williams. She would later freelance as a food stylist, turning ordinary food
into the beautiful works of art we see on television and in print ads.
Sarah was a long-time member at Church on Main in Snellville, Ga. There she was an
active member in her small group, and with Guest Services, where she would greet with
a smile every Sunday morning.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday June 20, 2026 at Rose Hill Cemetery in
Pulaski, Tennessee
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Church On Main in Snellville,
Georgia
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Sarah
Elizabeth Long.
