Sherry Lynn Joyner

Sherry Lynn Joyner, age 62, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed
away on Friday, July 10 th , 2026 at NHC Brink in
Lawrenceburg, TN. Sherry was born on January 18 th , 1964
to the late Reba Mae Johnson and Walter Thomas Smith.
Sherry worked for many years as a seamstress in the
Lawrenceburg area. Before retiring, she worked for many
years at Tyson Foods. In her spare time, she enjoyed
coloring, sewing, being outdoors, finding collectibles, and
spending time with her loving family and friends. She was
of Christian Faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by
her husband, Richard Dale Joyner; stillborn son, Richard
Dale Joyner Jr, and her sister, Tina Smith.
She is survived by her sons, Joshua Joyner (Jessica) and
Damion Joyner (Melanie); grandchildren, Aiden Joyner
(Allison), Morgan Joyner (Caidan), Phoenix Joyner, Alice
Joyner, Kirsten Matlock, and Brandon Shirley
(Haley);great grandchildren, Oliver Mitchell, Dallas Shirley,
Charlee Shirley; sisters, Jean Jacobs (Satch) and
Rebecca Shults; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
