Thomas Brandon “Tommy” Walls II, 70, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at his home in Campbellsville.

He was born March 14, 1956, in Nashville to Geraldleen Carvell Walls and Thomas Brandon Walls.

A 1974 graduate of Campbellsville High School, Tommy’s life was deeply rooted in the Campbellsville community, where he was the eighth generation of his family to live. With the exception of his first five years in Nashville and a short time as a young man driving a truck in Alaska during pipeline construction, Campbellsville remained the place he called home. He spent his professional life as a truck driver, while continuing to work on the farm he loved. Tommy valued family history, loved stories from the road and treasured the companionship he shared first with his grandfather, Dewey Carvell, and later with his grandson Kipp. He was proud of his children, cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchild, and was known for his tender heart, generous nature and willingness to help others. In recent years, Tommy attended Richland Baptist Church, where he found comfort and assurance in his faith.

He is survived by his father, Thomas Brandon Walls; one son, Brandon Walls; three daughters, Brandy Walls Garner and husband Dwight, Bethany Walls Kennedy and husband Michael, and Katie Walls; one brother, Timothy Carvell Walls and wife Mary Lou; one aunt, Martha Carvell Russell; grandchildren, Alexandria Garner Barnett and husband Caleb, Sara Garner Carter and husband Jackson, Owen Garner, Karter Kennedy, Maddox Kennedy, Kipp Devers, Karsyn Stone and Kanon Allen; and great-granddaughter Evelynn Barnett. Two nieces, Jillian Walls and Makenna Walls; nephew Levi Walls; and step-daughter Mary Beth Hollman Tidwell and husband Mark, and their sons Maxton and Miles Tidwell, also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldleen Carvell Walls; his maternal grandparents, Dewey and Eula Mae Owen Carvell; and his paternal grandparents, Thomas Elner and Ruby Cooper Walls.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 6, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rick Bilyeu, senior pastor of Richland Baptist Church, officiating.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Richland Baptist Church in Lynnville.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Thomas Brandon “Tommy” Walls II.
