On December 12, 2025, Thomas Duncan Regen passed away at the NHC Healthcare Facility of Pulaski, Tennessee where he had been a resident since October. Duncan Regen, age 75, was born on September 4, 1950, in Augusta, Georgia. He was the beloved son of the late Thomas S. Regen and Sarah F. Regen. Duncan was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Tennessee, where he also participated in the New Creation Sunday School Class. His faith and commitment to service were evident in his everyday life. In his spare time, Duncan devoted himself to helping others by volunteering with the Giles County Community Rural Food Delivery program, a service he valued deeply. A true sports fanatic, Duncan especially loved college football and was a devoted and lifelong fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Game days brought him great joy, and he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends.
He is survived by his brother, Bob (Sharon) Regen of Union City, Tennessee, and his sister, Beth (Sean) Brennan of Jonesborough, Tennessee. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Angela (Jay) Davis of Union City, Tennessee; Jason Whitehead of Richland, Washington; Leslie (Brett) McCutchan of Lexington, South Carolina; and Andrew (Brooke) Regen of Halls, Tennessee. He was also blessed with several great-nieces and nephews. Duncan shared a close and meaningful bond with his cousins, whom he considered not only family but lifelong friends. Their relationship brought him great joy, comfort and companionship throughout his life.
Duncan will be remembered for his love of sports and, above all, for his devotion to his family, his faith, and his community.
