Businessman Troy Rudolph Rose passed away on May 19, 2026, at NHC in Pulaski, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Giles County, Tennessee, on June 17, 1942, and was 83 years old.
Rudolph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was rooted in faith, integrity, and perseverance. Born and raised on the family farm in Giles County, he carried those values throughout his life and into every endeavor he pursued. A hardworking and respected businessman, Rudolph was the owner and operator of Shield’s Flowers and Greenhouse, where he shared his love for farming, gardening, and serving the community. In addition to his work in agriculture and business, he devoted 32 years of dedicated service to Giles County Hospital and Hillside Hospital. Rudolph also gave generously of his time through volunteer service with the Giles County Rescue Squad and the Pulaski City Fire Department. Whether tending to his chicken farm, growing flowers, or helping those in need, he was known for his tireless work ethic, kind spirit, and willingness to serve others. Above all, Rudolph cherished his family and took great pride in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His legacy of hard work, service, compassion, and dedication to both his family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will follow at Giles Memory Garden.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cheryl Johnson Rose, parents, Joe Hershel and Laura Ethel Rose, Brothers, William Carson Rose and Royce D. Rose, Sisters, Opaline Barnickle, Imagene Yokley, and Doris Smith, and grandson, Britton Steve Taylor
