It is with great sadness to share that Tyrone Ingram, otherwise known as Big Dad, has passed away on October 14th, 2026. He was born on November 6th, 1940, to Malcolm Aymett Ingram and Eleanor Ruth Cobb Ingram, and was 85 years old. He taught biology, economics, and was a coach for football and track at Giles County High School for many years.
Tyrone was the most caring and considerate man. He loved animals, especially his cats. He was an amazing friend, a great coach and teacher, and an inspiration to everyone.
In reflecting upon his life, we remember Tyrone for being the kindest man, no matter the circumstance. He had the funniest attitude and the sweetest heart when he walked into the room. If you met Tyrone, he took his time to get to know you. He made you feel important and listened to, and was a great man.
Bennett-May Funeral Home will be hosting a Celebration of Life for TyroneIngram on October 24th from 2-4pm.
