Wilma Jean Claud

Wilma Jean Claud of Pulaski, TN passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Giles County, TN on August 22, 1946 and was 79 years old.

Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She found great joy in tending to her garden, sewing, and canning. A devoted member of Oak Grove Church, Jean gave her time and talents through volunteer work. Above all, Jean cherished time spent with her family. She touched many lives through her 39 years working as a Headstart teacher. She had a heart of gold, to know her was to love her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery in Goodspring, TN

Jean was preceded in death by, her husband, Virgil S. “Smitty” Claud, parents, Wesley Blade and Elizabeth Martin, brothers, W.H. Blade, Jimmy Blade, and Billy Blade, Granddaughter, Shayna Claud, grandson, Tre Claud, and great-granddaughter, Allison Claud.
She is survived by,
Her son, Jeff (Rhonda) Claud of Goodspring, TN
Daughter, Valerie (Terry) Manning of Pulaski, TN
Sons, Tony Claud of Goodspring, TN
Tim Claud of Goodspring, TN
Ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren
Brothers, Terry (Darlene) Blade of Culleoka, TN
Bud Blade of Ardmore, TN
Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
