James “Bubbie” Leonard Fry, age 76 of Goodspring, passed away on Sunday June 7, 2026 at his home. James was born in Pulaski, TN on December 18, 1949 to Leonard and Martha Etta Henderson Fry. He was a truck driver for Valley Packaging and a member of Booth Chapel Church of Christ. James appreciated a life that was uncomplicated and genuine. He found happiness in good company, it didn’t matter whether he was camping, leisurely driving around, sharing a meal, or just simply spending time with the ones he loved.
James is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Martha Henderson Fry; brother Frankie Fry; sisters Alma Chambers and Faye Hatcher.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday June 11, 2026 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Interment will be in Giles Memory Gardens.
James is survived by his wife Connie Fry of Goodspring; son James Dennis Fry (Kelly) of Lawrenceburg; daughter Donna Delane Fry of Pulaski; sister Betty Marie Womble of Ethridge; grandchildren Amanda Paige Fry, Morgan Delane Sowell, Mackenzie Denea Sherrell, Braxton Jovan Sherrell; great grandchild James Declan Sowell; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
