Bobby Wayne Stafford

Bobby Wayne Stafford of Prospect, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, August 26 th , 2026,
at his residence. He was born in Giles County, Tennessee on May 14 th , 1946, and was 80 years
old.
Bobby was a loving father and grandfather and brother. He was a lifetime farmer, and retired
from Magotteaux after 30 years. Bobby was a United States Army Veteran. Above all, he loved
his grandchildren and loved all of his animals.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Bennett-
May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The memorial service will follow at 11:00am on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in the chapel of
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Oak Grove Cemetery c/o
Bobby Powell, or St. Jude 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Wayne was preceded in death by, his wife, Sandra Lee Russell Stafford, parents, George and
Mary Stafford, sisters, Ozella Worsham and Pauline Williams, and brother, Robert Stafford.
