Jeffrey Antione Tibbs, Sr

Mr. Jeffrey Antione Tibbs Sr. of Giles County, TN was born on September 16, 1984 to the late Alice and Harold Tibbs. He departed his earthly life to eternal rest on September 12, 2026. At an early age, Jeffrey confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was baptized and united with Phoenix Chapel A.M.E. Church. Jeffrey was dedicated to his choir, church, and his church family. Jeffrey attended Sparkman Middle and Sparkman High School. During those years, he created relationships that lasted a lifetime. He also met the love of his life and his high school sweetheart, Alona Tibbs. After high school, he went on to become a certified driver for “Big Trucks”. He was a driver for well over 15 years.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, Marco Ragland, and one sister, Rotina Tibbs.

Mr. Jeffrey Antione Tibbs Sr. leaves behind a lifetime of love and cherished memories to his devoted wife of 15 years, Alona Tibbs (whom he lovingly called “Love”); Three beautiful children, Jay (Katie) Tibbs, Jeffrey Tibbs Jr., and one daughter, Aaliyah Tibbs; Two grandchildren, Nova and Amiri Tibbs; Three brothers, Jimmy (Donna) Tibbs, Alan (Keisha) Tibbs, and Travis Friend; Aunts, Beverly Brown, Jerldine Hyter, and Laverne (James) Crook; Uncles, Otha Smith, and Mike (Clara) Smith; Mother-in-law, Ms. Tammy Holt, Father-in-law, Mr. Tim Whitfield, Brother- in-law, Jarvis Holt Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 12 noon until 5pm at Jordan Funeral Home, 327 Mill Street, Pulaski, TN.

Funeral Service will be on Sunday, September, 20, 2026 beginning with visitation at 1pm and the 2pm funeral service immediately following at Farmers Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Tabernacle, 131 Baugh Road, Elkton, TN.

Interment will be in Phoenix Chapel Cemetery in Prospect, TN.
